Wachusett Region Recycling Events – 8/24/13

If you have clothing that you don’t think is worth donating to a charity because it is stained or ripped, bring it to Wachusett Watershed Regional Recycling Center (131 Raymond Huntington Highway, West Boylston). They are now collecting fabrics and used clothing, including shoes that have lost their mates.

Registration for the RecycleBowl competition is open for the 2013 school year. This competition was developed to get schools to start or increase their recycling. Schools with kindergarten through twelfth grade are eligible to participate. Compete against other schools in the same category or across the country, collect recyclables in the school only or from the community, compete in-state or with schools across the country.

Princeton will hold their annual town-wide yard sale on Saturday, September 28th. It will run from 8am to 2pm no matter what the weather is. See the First Congregational Church of Princeton website for more information. There you will find the registration form you can submit if you want to take part and be on the map that will be available for buyers. For tips on holding a yard sale, check out my 3-part blog series all about how to get ready.
