MassRecycle Locker GreenOut Program

Next month, thousands of primary, elementary, middle/junior, and high school students will be finishing the school year. They’ll be cleaning out about ten months of locker debris. Where will it all go? With Mass Recycle’s Locker GreenOut program, schools can help students sort through everything to determine what take some materials out of the trash by having a way to recycle or donate what they can. MassRecycle has a program schools can use to facilitate this and is giving prizes to 3 elementary, middle, and high schools that collect and report the most materials: twenty new recycling containers, a site visit with recycling recommendations, or an ACE assembly to facilitate recycling.
