Clothing Companies That Recycle Their Own Clothing

Some companies have gone green and will you reward you for your participation in their recycling efforts.

Patagonia has created the Common Threads Garment Recycling Program, through which customers can return worn out Capilene® Performance Baselayers, Patagonia® fleece, Polartec® fleece clothing (from any maker), Patagonia cotton T-shirts, and some additional polyester and nylon 6 products that come with a Common Threads tag to Patagonia for recycling. Drop worn clothing off at any Patagonia or Performance Base Layer retailer or mail to: Patagonia Service Center, ATTN: Common Threads Recycling Program, 8550 White Fir Street, Reno, NV 89523-8939. See their website for more information about the program.

J. Jill gives you 10% off a new J. Jill item for every donation of gently-worn J. Jill clothing you bring back to their stores. Your returned items will be donated to a local charity.
