Where to Recycle Nature Valley Granola Bar Wrappers

The packaging of the Nature Valley granola bar caught my attention this afternoon. It’s not often you see ‘Donate Your Wrapper to:’ on your food’s packaging. Nature Valley is donating funds to the National Parks Conservation Association and are asking the public to help by mailing wrappers to them for recycling in order to donate additional funds. You can send your empty wrappers, even if it’s only one, to Nature Valley National Parks Project, PO Box 450328, El Paso, TX 88545-0328 and Nature Valley will donate 10 cents for each wrapper they receive.  This might be a good learning experience for a grade school classroom.  Three parks will be helped through this project: Biscayne National Park and its coral reefs, the Grand Canyon’s native plant life, and Yellowstone’s pronghorn migration routes.
