Where to Recycle Children’s Toys

Children seem to outgrow their toys before the toys wear out. Toys and books that are still in good condition can be brought to Wachusett Health Education Action Team (WHEAT) for donation to a needy child or to be sold in their thrift store to raise funds to help others. They serve Sterling, MA and other local towns. Donations can be brought to 123 High Street, Unit #22, Clinton, MA during business hours:  Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays – 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Thursdays – 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, Saturdays – 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Call 978-365-6349 for more information. Toys and books can also be sold on consignment at Cutie Patuties,  Johnny Appleseed Plaza, 1021 Central Street, Leominster, MA. They will take the large indoor/outdoor items like playhouses, tricycles, and kitchen setups as well as smaller toys and books. Call them at 978-534-660 to schedule an appointment to bring in your items.
