How to Recycle Equine Items

ForgeWorks Farm (21 Cambell Court, Rutland, MA) provides therapeutic riding lessons for special needs children and adults. Working with or on the horses provides a workout for both the brain and the muscles. Any horse- or barn-related supplies are welcome, in particular: 17 and 18 Wintec dressage or all purpose saddle, gel pads, thick saddle pads, girth covers, peacock stirrups, rubber horse feed tubs, and bales of wood shavings for bedding.

Bay State Equine Rescue is a volunteer organization that works to “preserve equine integrity through care that provides physical, mental and emotional health” with a focus on rescue and rehabilitation. They have a wish list of equine and barn supplies as well as yard care and office supplies.  Click here to see their wish list.
